Zidane Will Not Become the Manager of France Atleast Until 2026!
Philippe Diallo, the President of the French Football Federation (FFF), has stated that Zinédine Zidane will not be considered for the role of France manager until at least 2026. In an interview with Le Figaro, Diallo emphasized that Didier Deschamps' position as the current manager is secure, regardless of how Les Bleus perform in the upcoming Euros in Germany.
Talking to the media, Diallo said, "Zinedine Zidane is one of the monuments of French football, that’s the first thing, which is to show gratitude and gratefulness for everything that he has brought to the French people. But then there is the other thing, which is that we have the best manager in French football in place until 2026. That’s all that needs to be said"
Deschamps recently extended his contract until 2026 following France's World Cup final defeat to Argentina in Qatar. Zidane, who has expressed interest in the managerial role, had rumors surrounding his potential arrival around the time of Deschamps' contract renewal. However, Diallo has made it clear that the door is closed for Zidane, at least for the foreseeable future.
