Xavi shoots down Yamal - Messi comparisons

Being called the 'Next Messi' is an unfair standard that no one should be held to. Certainly not 16 year old Lamine Yamal who is really beginning to shake it up for Barca right now. Thankfully Xavi knows this.

Mallorca boss Javi Aguirre compared Yamal to a young Messi after the Spanish winger scored a wonderful goal that helped Barca beat Mallorca 1-0.

Xavi however quickly shot these comparisons down. "I understand but I think they should not be compared. Anyone will lose when compared to Messi. We're talking about the best player in the history of this sport, he should not be compared."
