Xabi Alonso Set To Reject Liverpool Managerial Job!

As per TeamTalk via 90min, Xabi Alonso is prepared to reject the chance to become Liverpool's new manager this summer. His family is settled in Germany, while Alonso also has fears he is not yet ready for the task of replacing Jurgen Klopp. 

If true, this could come as a big blow to Liverpool as the Spaniard was their priority to replace Klopp as per reports. Alonso was also approved by the Liverpool manager as per sources however it seems that the Reds may have to restart their search from scratch.

However, this could increase Bayern Munich's chances of signing Xabi Alonso. The Bavarians are set to cut ties with manager Jurgen Klopp at the end of the season and have reportedly included the Spaniard in their shortlist as well.

Currently, it looks likely that Alonso will continue with Bayer Leverkusen as he is happy there. It has to be seen if the manager will have a change of heart this summer.
