Massive preparations are underway for the upcoming Malmas Mela in Rajgir, Nalanda, and something interesting has caught everyone's eye.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's deputy, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, seems to be 'missing' from the posters and hoardings put up by the government to welcome visitors.
The posters solely feature Nitish Kumar's bold photograph, highlighting the facilities available for devotees during this special religious and tourism event.
Tejashwi, who recently returned from a foreign trip, is noticeably absent from the promotional materials, raising speculations about the relations between Nitish's JD(U) and Tejashwi's RJD.
This development gains significance due to the CBI chargesheet against Tejashwi in the land-for-railway-jobs scam.
However, unlike the previous incident in 2017, Nitish has remained silent on the matter this time. JD(U) spokespersons, including national president Rajiv Ranjan alias Lalan Singh and finance minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, have come forward to defend Tejashwi.
According to RJD and JD(U) representatives, the absence of Tejashwi's photo doesn't indicate any political motive. They claim it's common practice to feature only those leaders attending the function on government posters.
Let's wait and watch whether it is pertaining to a political motive or it’s just a normal poster featuring people those who will be attending the function!!
