It's disappointing to see incidents of crowd disorder tarnishing the atmosphere of a football match, especially in a derby fixture
The safety and well-being of all spectators and players should always be the top priority
Hopefully, this serves as a reminder to all clubs and fans about the importance of maintaining a positive and safe environment within football stadiums.
West Bromwich Albion have been charged with misconduct by the Football Association over crowd disorder during their FA Cup derby defeat by Wolves.
January's fourth-round tie at The Hawthorns was halted for almost 40 minutes amid trouble in the stands.
The game, won 2-0 by Premier League side Wolves, was the first meeting between the Black Country rivals in front of supporters since 2012.
Championship club Albion have until Wednesday, 20 March to respond.
"It's alleged that the club failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and don't behave in an improper, offensive, violent, threatening, abusive, indecent, insulting or provocative way," the FA said.
"It's also alleged that the club failed to ensure its spectators and/or supporters refrain from throwing missiles or other potentially harmful or dangerous objects towards the pitch."
