Excited!
Crakk has mixed reviews from critics and fans alike. However, Crakk is one wild ride, and I mean that in the most chaotic way possible. This movie is a complete mess, but in a way that's almost entertaining to watch unfold. It's like a car crash you can't look away from - you know it's going to be a disaster, but you just have to see how it all plays out.
The plot is all over the place, jumping between this underground extreme sports competition, a revenge storyline, and some half-baked spy subplot. The characters are one-dimensional at best, with Vidyut Jammwal's protagonist Siddhu being the only one who really gets any development, and even that is pretty surface-level.
But you know what? The action sequences are actually pretty impressive. Jammwal pulls off some genuinely death-defying stunts, and the film does a decent job of capturing the intensity and adrenaline of this "Maidaan" competition. It's the one area where Crakk really shines, even if the editing is a bit disorienting at times.
Overall, Crakk is a total mess of a movie, but in a way that's almost endearing. It's the kind of film that's so unabashedly bonkers that you can't help but get a kick out of it, at least on a so-bad-it's-good level. If you go in expecting a coherent, well-made action thriller, you'll be sorely disappointed. But if you're in the mood for some gloriously over-the-top, logic-defying insanity, then Crakk just might be your cup of tea.
