Delhi's BL Kapoor Super Speciality Hospital has no vacant Covid beds despite Delhi government's corona dashboard showing 50 vacancies. We have been trying to verify information about vacancies in hospitals provided on the Delhi government's Corona Dashboard (https://coronabeds.jantasamvad.org/beds.html) and this time we picked up - BLK Super Specialty Hospital, Rajendra Place in New Delhi, Corona Dashboard showed 50 beds vacant out of total 322 which was last updated at 10:02 pm as per the dashboard. The dashboard also provided five contact numbers of the hospital. However, when we tried them, only one (8130697446) responded after nine calls spread over two hours. We were told that no beds are available at the moment. Two other numbers (8448386700 and 9311365796) mentioned on dashboard were switched off. Fourth number (01130653299) continuously remained busy was and the fifth (01130653040) was temporarily out of coverage area. We verified the information at 9:40 pm on April 30.

We will continue to verify information about the availability of oxygen cylinders/refills, hospital beds and medicines. Please bear in mind that the information will be of immediate use.
