Varanasi's folk singer Bharat Sharma Vyas and Azamgarh's tabla player Kalinath Mishra will also be given the Academy Award.The artists said that this is an honor to the musical practice of Kashi.  Said that the fragrance of Banaras Gharana is spreading not only in the country but also in foreign countries.Music practitioners from Kashi have also registered their names among the recipients of awards from Sangeet Natak Akademi New Delhi.  Kashi has won three awards in the category of singing and playing.  Pandit Dharmanath Mishra will be given the Academy Award for the year 2022 in Harmonium.  Whereas, Ustad Bismillah Khan Youth Award will be given to Sarangi player Sangeet Mishra.
