Protest against the conspiracy to demolish the huts of Hindu refugees from Pakistan near Majnu Ka Tilla Gurudwara - Goyal

New Delhi: Senior BJP leader and International Executive President of United Hindu Front, Mr. Jai Bhagwan Goyal, stated that while on one hand the Indian government is considering granting protection and various rights to Hindus coming from Pakistan by implementing the CAA, on the other hand, at the behest of the Kejriwal government, the demolition of huts of these Hindus in Delhi by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is deeply saddening. It was the United Hindu Front that had arranged for these refugee Hindus to settle near Majnu Ka Tilla Gurudwara in Delhi and provided them with opportunities to earn their livelihood. Today, the United Hindu Front, along with the presence of saints and various Hindu organizations, staged a protest against the demolition of their huts on 7-3-2024 and expressed their anger by sitting on a dharna.

Mr. Goyal mentioned that the already devastated lives of these refugee Hindus were on the path of recovery, but the Kejriwal government, in its vile attempt to appease only the Muslim community during this election season, has stooped to the level of ordering the demolition of the huts of these shelter-seeking Hindus. United Hindu Front vehemently demands from the government that until arrangements for their residence, along with full government facilities, are made, the orders to demolish their huts should be immediately revoked. United Hindu Front has also submitted a memorandum to the Lieutenant Governor, Prime Minister, and Home Minister of the Indian government regarding the strong demand to revoke the orders of the DDA.

In the protest, prominent figures such as Mr. Dharmendra Bedi, Avadh Kumar, Sanwar Tayal, Ram Kumar Arya, Munna, Jyoti, Vikas Thakur, Ajay Kumar, Amit Saini, Tufan Krantikari, Dharmveer, and Dayal Das were present mainly.
