I met Manish in Pune during my internship in 2010 and it felt like fate had brought us together and later our wedding in 2013 was a dream come true. Then we welcomed our first child Shaleen in 2015, cherished numerous trips and made beautiful memories together. Soon after in 2019 we were blessed with our second child Namami and our family of 4 was complete and happy.
I faced the ultimate tragedy when Manish contracted covid and although he tried hard to battle with the illness until he left us on 30th april 2021, at just 35 years old, my heart broke into pieces and it was too much to tolerate. Just two months later in july, my mom got very sick and passed away due to cancer.
In the shadows of relentless depression and the weight of anxiety, I found myself enveloped, yet amidst the darkness, a beacon of hope illuminated through the dreams Manish and I shared for our children's future. Namami and Shaleen emerged as steadfast pillars of resilience, their innocent laughter piercing through the gloomiest of days with unwavering brightness. It was within this embrace of familial strength that I embarked on a transformative journey, birthing Namami - an embodiment of simplicity and elegance.
Driven by the fervent desire to materialize our aspirations and extend a compassionate hand to others treading a similar path, I embarked on a modest venture, initially offering sarees to our intimate circle, gradually expanding to prominent showcases such as the Maven plus size show.
Today, with a thriving community of 10,000 loyal followers across Facebook and Instagram, and having served over 1500 gratified patrons, our mission endures. United in gratitude for the unwavering trust and steadfast support bestowed upon us, we remain resolute in our dedication to perpetuate this meaningful odyssey.
I believe my husband may not be with me physically but I feel his support in business and belief in dreams beyond.
