The state government will also be made a party in the monitoring petition filed in the case of dismissal of the complaint filed against Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. Allowing this, Special Judge of MPMLA Court Harbansh Narayan has fixed March 11 for the hearing. It is noteworthy that by filing the petition, monitor Nripendra Pandey had said that Rahul Gandhi had deliberately said derogatory things against Veer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar during the Bharat Jodo Padyatra. MPMLA's special ACJM Ambrish Kumar Srivastava had filed an application in the court demanding a report against Rahul, alleging that on November 17, 2022, Rahul had made indecent criticism about Savarkar from the public platform to create disharmony in Akola, Maharashtra. The lower court had earlier ordered to register this application as a complaint. Later that complaint was dismissed as outside the jurisdiction. This order of the lower court has been challenged through a monitoring petition. In this, Nripendra Pandey did not make the state government the opposition, only Rahul Gandhi was made the opposition. When objections came during the hearing of the case, the court also allowed the state government to be made a party.
