The stage of Nagari Natak Troupe in Varanasi, became witness to the tunes of Malini and the beats of Avantika's tabla. On the last day of the two-day musical tribute organized in the honor of classical music luminary Savita Devi and Thumri empress Siddheshwari Devi, disciples and artists paid tribute to tune and music.The final note of the two-day music festival organized by Siddhadeshwari Devi Academy of India Music on Sunday was in the name of Malini's tunes. Padam Shree, Malini Awasthi showered melodious tunes in her traditional style. He gave a captivating rendition of Ae Sachi Kaho Mose Batiyaan Ho.... He was accompanied by Pandit Dharmanath Mishra on harmonium, Shubh Maharaj on tabla and Vinayak Sahay on sarangi.
Before this, the program was inaugurated by the chief guest Pandit Rajeshwar Acharya by lighting the lamp. Along with the light of the lamp, the melodious sounds of classical traditions also started spreading in the auditorium. In the program that started in the evening, the students of the academy paid tribute to the great singers. After this, a film based on the life of Vidushi Savita Devi was also screened.
