The documentary is quite interesting!
Along with being mindful about individual consumption, I wonder what steps are being taken on a broader scale to end the human & animal rights violations shown in film
Caroline Tippett’s “The Seafood Industry Needs a Net-Zero Commitment: Mo More Endangered Species Caught, Ever” was such a good read I had to share! After all the hype and attention of Netflix’s Seaspiracy in March of 2021, a lot of people we’re introduced to the environmental impact of fishing and consuming fish. There is so much that goes into the fishing industry, and as a fish lover it was hard to stomach. But part of eating fish, and meat, is acknowledging the industry it comes from and the environmental toll it can take. Coming to a place where morals, ethics, and personal boundaries meet is important for any meat consumer. I myself eat meat, but try to limit myself and introduce vegan meals and substitutes where I can to help. Just like with most things, progress over perfection!
