The Left has once again hoisted the flag of victory in the JNU Students Union elections. Left candidates have won on all four seats. Dhananjay has been elected president and Avijit has been elected vice president. Priyanshi Arya (BAPSA Left supported) as General Secretary and Mohd. Sajid was elected joint secretary. JNU Election Committee (CEC) Chairman Shailendra Kumar announced the results late night.There is an atmosphere of celebration in the Left camp after the announcement of election results. There was a bumper 73 percent voting in JNU on Friday.Newly elected Vice President (Left) Avijit Ghosh said that the JNUSU elections are historic, taking place after four years. JNUSU has always fought for the rights of students.
