The Defenders looked like an amateur compared to even the stand-alone shows of each hero. It could've been a good show but it lacked good story and characters. Luke Cage and Daredevil are the only two characters that were worth looking for whereas the other two were just there and their contribution

to the show was minuscule. The story is decent but didn't feel organic. It felt like it was written forcefully to bring these four Marvel characters together. This series needed The Punisher!!! Overall, the best thing about this series is the interaction between the four leads and I was able to at least get through the season which consists of just 8 episodes.

It's a Timepass one time watch, but extremely disappointing, especially with the potential this series had. A Lost Opportunity!
