"The Batman 2" will start filming in April next year.

The release of "The Batman Part II," the highly anticipated sequel to Matt Reeves' successful 2022 film "The Batman," has been delayed by a full year.

Originally slated for October 3, 2025, the sequel will now premiere on October 2, 2026. The delay is attributed to the impact of the 2023 industry-wide strikes on the film's production schedule.

Despite the setback, fans are excited to see Robert Pattinson reprise his role as the caped crusader, alongside Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Colin Farrell as The Penguin. Additionally, there are plans for a spin-off series featuring Farrell's character on Max.
