The Affair starting from beginning to end, was AMAZING. Every character had a role, and they played them so well, almost felt like you were a fly on the wall; in their home. Helen, Alison, Whitney, Sanaa (Janelle), Noah, and Cole. I had to keep a box of Kleenex with me because each episode left me in deep thought. Whenever I'd suggest friends watch this show, and mention the name of it... they automatically assume that "oh, I already know about that kinda title and how that ends" but, truth is, no one ever wants to hear the truth about how a story such as "the Affair" in any household truly begins. The Affair, did just that. It wasn't simply "just an Affair", all families involved in this emotional drama played a huge role otn how one bad decision you choose to make in your life can either hurt you or help you. Season 5, I know I cried every episode. No TV show has ever kept my interest such as the Affair has. I wish that it could have gone on to show how the kids life could have possibly been affected by emotional trauma. Watching Noah, there as he rested on Helen's grave reading Stacy's book I couldn't help but cry even more. In my opinion, there will never be another show like "The Affair" Sarah Treem, Hagai Levi and to everyone else apart from making this incredible story, Job well done.
Everyone will have their different opinions about the show, but believe me when I say this, if you are going to entertain this show for one minute of your life.. make sure it has your (UNDIVIDED) attention. Then everything with each episode will make so much sense.
