The 2024 edition of Copa America, the premier men's football competition in South America, will take place in a new city.

As per news reports, the tournament will be held in the United States and will be jointly organised by the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), it was announced on Thursday.
Ten teams from CONMEBOL will compete in the 2024 edition, and six teams from CONCACAF will also be present.
"More and better competitions and for football and its values to grow and strengthen throughout the hemisphere. Without a doubt, both confederations believe in big, and we will work with this orientation," said CONMEBOL president Alejandro Dominguez.
