The Texas school where a shooter killed two teachers and 19 pupils, Robb Elementary School, will be demolished.
On May 24, one of America's worst mass shootings occurred. Parents have accused the local police of delaying an hour before entering the school and murdering the shooter, Salvador Ramos, 18, which has angered the community.
Texas's public safety commissioner, Steve McCraw, told state lawmakers looking into how the tragedy was handled that police had adequate personnel and equipment to stop the shooter minutes after he entered the school.
After entering the building, Ramos continued to fire on kids in Class 4 as the police stood outside. Later, horrific information regarding some kids pretending to be dead in order to survive was revealed from the scene of the mass shooting.
The first school to be destroyed following a mass massacre won't be Robb Elementary. After more than twenty students and staff members were killed in a similar tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, in 2012, the building was demolished.
