The issue remains that Ndombele, who became Spurs' record signing when he signed from Lyon for £55 million in July 2019, is paid £200,000-a-week and finding a club to match that will be difficult. Ndombele is also on a lengthy contract that doesn't expire until the summer of 2025.
Ndombele has attracted interest from Barcelona previously and has his sights set on a big Champions League club, but there has not been any concrete interest as of yet this window.
Spurs are extremely unlikely to recoup anything like the fee they paid Lyon two years ago, and the initial priority will be finding someone to pay Ndombele's wages, or at least a chunk of them. A loan then would make sense if an interested club is willing to stump up the cash.
Ndombele hopes that will happen, and if not he will likely continue to be used sparingly by Conte for a team he's never looked fully at home in.
