De Facto Sovereignty is the natural right of the original citizens of every state or place. There have been repeated demands for sovereignty in many states, especially from local tribes. In the absence of both de jure and de facto sovereignty, the demand for a separate state rises among the people, whether it is Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Nagaland, Tribals, Punjab. Different names for these revolutions have been given by the governments from time to time and the public has been misled.
In the independent country India, sovereignty should be defined by the citizens, but the truth is opposite. Here the states need sovereignty within the Federation the most, in the absence of which the country is reaching a dilapidated condition.
Sovereignty is an actual term that defines an individual consciousness, social construct or authority within a particular territory. From which every state and citizen of India is bereft. On the contrary, the economic, religious and social sovereignty of the citizens has been held hostage by numerous laws and regulations and in some cases it has been crushed.
The beauty of a democracy is absolutely incomplete and meaningless without sovereignty.
