Senior member of "National Resistance Front" led by Ahmad Massoud: We will soon announce fundamental changes in the front.

Abdul Hafeez Mansour, one of the well-known members of an anti-Taliban movement called "National Resistance Front" led by Ahmad Massoud, says that "fundamental changes" will be announced in this front soon.

Mr. Mansour wrote in a tweet: "A group of experts have been working on new appointments for a month now, and the result of their proposal has been entrusted to the front's leadership."

He added that "fundamental changes have been considered in the national resistance front, which can transform the situation."

Yesterday, Sibghatullah Ahmadi, the spokesperson of this front, resigned from his job criticizing "exclusivity" in a tweet.

Ahmad Massoud lives in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and fighters of this front have had sporadic clashes with Taliban forces in Panjshir and several northern provinces.

Sources close to this front say that differences among senior members of the resistance front have caused some of them to resign.
