Can resistance bands be used to build muscle? 🤔
You very certainly can.
Although barbells, dumbbells, or machines are superior in the long run...
Even if you are inexperienced in the gym, resistance bands will help you grow muscle.
And you're using some type of progressive overload.
Progressive overload cannot be avoided, regardless of the source of resistance (bodyweight, weights, resistance bands).
So long as you work out hard (near to failure) and use progressive overload (increasing effort over time), you will gain muscle.
And the best part is that you can do it from the comfort of your own home using resistance bands.
If I had to workout at home, I would always combine bodyweight exercises with resistance band activities.
