Playing their World Cup opener on Sunday, Al Sahrani collied with Saudi goalkeeper Mohammed Alowais and was knocked out in the second half of the game.
The goalkeeper reacted in horror after the incident happened and was seen holding his head in his lap.
The incident happened when Alowais had come out to grab the ball, and accidentally kneed Sahrani to his face.
Sahrani had to be urgently taken to the hospital for scans and was advised surgery to stop internal bleeding.
Mohammed Bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Saudi Arabia ordered the player be flown by private jet to Germany for treatment.
