Samsung announced a major price cut of Rs 10,000 on the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ just ahead of the Samsung Unpacked, where, the company will announce the next-generation Galaxy S24 series of smartphones with Galaxy AI features.
As per the latest update, the base variant of the Galaxy S23 with 128 GB of internal storage will be available for Rs 64,999 and the 256 GB variant is priced at Rs 69,999. Similarly, the base variant of the Galaxy S23+ with 256 GB storage now costs Rs 84,999, and the 512 GB variant now costs Rs 94,999.
These new prices are already reflected on platforms like Samsung’s online store, Flipkart, and Amazon. By using specific bank cards, users can also get additional discounts on both models, which will further bring down the prices of these devices by up to Rs 5,000.
Despite the next-generation Galaxy S series of smartphones being just around the corner, the Galaxy S23 and the Galaxy S23+ are still compelling packages, especially for those, who want a premium Android smartphone with all the bells and whistles. In fact, even the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which is now available for all the major platforms for less than Rs 1,00,000 is also a good option to consider.
However, if you want a smartphone with truly next-generation features, then we suggest you skip the Galaxy S23 series and wait for the Galaxy S24 series, which are speculated to include a lot of new features, including several generative AI capabilities. However, the upcoming phones might cost a lot more than the Galaxy S23 series.
