Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) will play against defending champions Gokulam Kerala FC on Friday in the Hero I-League 2022-2023 in Kerala.
The RKFC has 18 points in 11 matches with five wins, three loses and three draws. The RKFC’s previous home game against Gokulam Kerala FC played at Synthetic Turf TRC Srinagar ended with a draw.
However, for Friday’s match, the RKFC is hopeful of winning three points. The RKFC has also made a few new signings recently and are working hard to remain on top of the points table.
“Friday’s game is important for us. We are mentally prepared for the game. The mood in the dressing room is good. We will put more effort in tomorrow’s game and see the good results,” RKFC head coach Mehraj Ud Din Wadoo said.
He said Gokulam Kerala FC is a good team and also being defending champions. “We are approaching Gokulam Kerala FC as we are approaching other teams. They may be confident as they are playing a home match but we are taking it like any other game,” he said.
Gokulam Kerala FC coach Francesc Bonet said RKFC is a good team. “They have good players and also performed well in this season,” he said.
He said Gokulam Kerala FC team is excited to play in front of the fans. “We hope we will win three points and make fans happy,” he added.
