Movimiento POP Venezuela organized the Marine Litter and Micro Plastics Seminar as part of the “Education Program for Sustainable Development” on May 15, 2021. The aim of this seminar was to create awareness about climate change and pollution caused by marine garbage and plastics to seas and oceans, based on the Sustainable Development Goals of quality education, responsible consumption and production, climate action, and life below water. The seminar was attended by almost 50 participants from countries such as India, Mexico, and Venezuela.

The “Education Program for Sustainable Development” was launched on February 27, 2021. The program aims to provide climate education and promote climate action among the community in Venezuela.
