As per a UN IOM analysis, almost half a million Afghans have been internally displaced due to conflict since the beginning of 2021. The evaluation, that occurred between November 11 and November 21, shows that 667,900 persons have been internally displaced within Afghanistan. All of this took place between January 1st and November 21st of this year.
The survey also showed the number of Afghan refugees who have returned to Afghanistan or fled to other countries in search of asylum.
In addition, more than 1.146 million unregistered Afghan refugees returned to Afghanistan in 2021, primarily from Iran and Pakistan.
However, due to insecurity and conflict, hundreds of Afghans have fled to Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, India, the United States, Canada, and other nations throughout the world.
Besides that the economy of Afghanistan has decremented 35% since Taliban take over.
At the same time, many European countries, the US, and Australia who have bonded joined coalition to fight against terrorism have helped many Afghans to evacuate the country during their emergency flight in the month of August.
Among these people there were Afghan journalists, judges, human right activists, and women leaders among others have all flee the country due to the fear and insecurity.
But, still there are numerous people particularly women who have worked in various fields need the help of international community and the West to grant them the asylum seeking chance since their lives is in complete danger.
