Newly renovated sigra Stadium of Varanasi,  will be completely based on green energy.  Solar panels will be installed on the stadium building.  This will produce about 150 kilowatts of energy.  Even better facilities than the Palika Stadium of Kanpur are being developed here.  The design of the stadium was ready in one and a half years.  This information was given by Pranav Aggarwal, director of the company that constructed Sigra Stadium.Aggarwal said that his company got the work in September 2020 and the final approval on the design was given on March 17, 2022.  The construction of a sports complex has been started in the stadium by incorporating the suggestions received from the Sports Ministry and other departments.  Sports facilities have been developed in the stadium keeping in mind the Olympic standards.  Keeping in mind the international standards, 15 lanes have been constructed in the swimming pool.  To speed up the work, it was agreed to work using steel.  It does not cause pollution and it is easy to change the internal structure.
