NASA's "Goddard" handle on Twitter (managed by Goddard Space Flight Centre) is celebrating #NebulaNovember month on the platform, where it has promised to provide a month full of nebula content, including never-before-seen Hubble nebula images!
The pictures that it showcases every day are just jaw-dropping and divinely beautiful. One can't just take their eyes off them even for a moment.
But, What exactly is a Nebula?
Nebulae are enormous clouds of gas and dust in space. Some are created by dying stars, while others are “stellar nurseries” – places where stars are born!

Picture 1: It is a composite of the star cluster NGC 28, or Pacman Nebula, containing both X-ray and infrared data from two telescopes, Chandra and Spitzer, respectively.

Picture 2: It is the planetary nebula NGC 7293, the Helix Nebula, shown in ultraviolet light. It is the nearest example of what happens to a star condensing into a white dwarf.

Picture 3: It is NGC 6543, the Cat’s Eye Nebula, with its concentric gas shells, high-speed gas jets, and unusual shock-induced gas knots.

Picture 4: It is a three-light-year-tall pillar of gas and dust being eaten away by the light of nearby stars in the stellar nursery Carina Nebula.
