Narsingh Yadav has been elected the chairman of the Athletes Commission, The election of the Athletes Commission was completed in a  hotel located in Varanasi on Wednesday amidst the wrestling Mahakumbh Federation Cup event.  In this, veteran UP wrestling player Narsingh Yadav has been elected as the president and Nikki as the convener.  Along with this, Smita AS, Shashi, Bharti Baghel, Khushboo S.  Pawar, Shweta Dubey have been nominated as members.50 wrestling players from 25 states exercised their franchise in the elections held for five posts of the Commission.After Commonwealth Games gold medalist Narsingh Yadav became the chairman of the Athletes Commission, the players' internal organization has become active.  The Athletes Commission listens to the problems of the players and finds solutions to them.  Five out of eight members were selected in the election.
