My thoughts on Arsenal’s Transfer Window
The window started off with strong links to Mudryk, with him publicly flirting with a move to a club, a transfer to the club seemed likely. Obviously as we all know now, that move did not complete and it ended rather embarrassingly for Arsenal with them getting outbid by a midtable side.
Afterwards we turned to our backup plan - Trossard. He is amazing with close control in the box and personally I believe this was the perfect move after the Mudryk heartbreak. Directly afterwards within 24 hours we also quickly completed the signing of the Polish defender Kiwor, I have not watched much of this player but with reports of him already breaking records it looks to be a good deal.
The window went a bit quiet with some links with Spanish defender Fresneda but nothing seemed concrete. Nearing the end of the window Arsenal suddenly bid 60m for Caicedo and he himself put out a statement asking for the move, this move never finalised sadly due to Brighton refusing to let the player go. We then once again turned to our backup - Jorginho. Admittedly he did not look good in recent months but i believe that is due to Chelsea’s style of play. Once he gets into a team what has control of the ball his passing will become an amazing quality to have.
I would rate this window an 8/10, sadly we was not able to secure a ‘big’ signing but we reinforced our depth and I believe we are now prepared to challenge for this title.
