My experience in Australia has been quite a Rollercoaster with much to learn.
Melbourne is known as the sporting its of the world as we all know and I have been thereunder in my experience Australians are very sporty, when they think of sports they are extremely professional and serious about it unlike us. The higher sporting body in Australia is run by the professional, even in UK Sabastian Co was the sports minister during the London Olympic. I feel like in India on the other hand, sports academies needs to be more serious about their target where children in clubs sometimes just come and perform the routine work and go home, it should not be that way and take it much seriously on a professional level. That us one of the big reason why Australia so advanced in sports.
If we take into account each game in the context of India, I feel quantity wise it is quite negligible with a 40 million talent pool. I think sports needs a lot of reform in India, where funding and finance is a problem, as we know how every Federation depends on finance from the government. Professionalism is lacking to quite some extent in sports in Jndia. We should invest more and adopt sports and physical education even in educational curriculum and it should be implemented like in other countries. So, rather than only thinking about bagging a gold or silver medals our aim as a country, should be to make sports a culture in India and every citizen needs to be fit, there shouldn't be a second thought on that. People need to recognize the importance of sports and educate others on the same.
