Apple Inc. (formerly Apple Computer Inc) is one of the pioneers of the technology industry. It was founded in 1976 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak who first built 50 'hobby computers' of their own design for a local computer store called the Byte Shop. With money from the sale in hand, the two then quickly improved the design. Later, Jobs and Wozniak launched the Apple Il, with the goal of changing the way people used information to work, learn, and play.
The original Apple product line consisted of computer hardware, most Macintosh computers are accessories. But now, they focus on hardware and software, on entertainment media as iPod line of MP3 players is leader, and the iTunes provides an easy shipping interface for legal music downloads.
