Manchester City batter Luton, warm up for Real Madrid
Manchester City warmed up for the return leg of the Champions League quarterfinals in style with a 5-1 drubbing of Luton Town.
The scoring was kicked off by an own goal from Daiki Hashioka as early as the second minute. After that it wasn't until the second half that City moved past first gear, with Erling Haaland in particular guilty of missing a couple of gilt edged chances in the first half.
The second half was a whitewash as Mateo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku and Josko Gvardiol all found the net for City. Haaland also scored from the spot. Ross Barkley scored Luton's goal.
