The English winger joined Borussia Dortmund on a short-term loan deal in January after being frozen out of the Manchester United first-team squad for his public fallout with manager Erik ten Hag in August. Sancho, however, will report back to United at the end of his loan spell as the deal with the German club does not include a buy option.
The Telegraph now reports that the Red Devils are planning to sell him permanently in the upcoming summer transfer window if they manage to strike a deal with a potential buyer. The club are ready to take a hit on the £73m ($93m) transfer fee they had splashed out to acquire his services in 2021.
A recent report from the Daily Telegraph claimed that the Premier League giants are open to offers for most of their squad except for youngsters like Kobbie Mainoo, Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund. Sancho, 24, however, does not fit into the club's plans.
