Exciting times ahead in the transfer market
The future looks bright for Guehi, wherever he goes!
Guehi's saga heats up!
Liverpool have made Guehi a priority transfer target for the summer as the Reds prepare for a new era after Jurgen Klopp departs at the end of the season, according to The Telegraph. The Reds' new boss will have a say on whether to go ahead with a move for Guehi but is likely to face competition from Manchester United. The Red Devils could move for the defender if they appoint Dan Ashworth as sporting director during the summer. Ashworth is currently on gardening leave from Newcastle United.
Guehi is poised to move on from Palace in the coming months as he is out of contract in 2026 and not expected to renew his deal at Selhurst Park. Former club Chelsea are believed to have an option on Guehi but are unlikely to enter the race for his signature as they will not be able to offer Champions League football. The Blues currently sit in 10th place in the Premier League table.
Guehi only turned 23 in July but has already made 108 appearances for the Eagles, scoring five times for the South London club. Born in the Ivory Coast, he came through the youth system at Chelsea.
