A fart is the release of gas from the digestive system through the rectum, often accompanied by a distinctive sound and sometimes odor. Tired of always controlling the urge to fart when you're in public or in office? This is why you shouldn't control your farts, EVER!
It can cause you discomfort Holding in a fart can cause;
• Discomfort
• Bloating
• Pain (in some cases) This is because the gas is trapped in your digestive system and has nowhere to go.
It can cause health issues Holding in farts can cause health issues like:
1 Haemorrhoids - Swollen and inflamed veins in the lower rectum or anus causing pain, bleeding and discomfort during bowel movements.
2 Anal fissures - Small tears in the lining of the anal canal causing severe pain, bleeding and itching during bowel movements.
3 Diverticulitis - Inflammation or infection of small pouches that develop in the lining of the colon causing abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, diarrhea and fever.
The pressure can weaken rectal muscles and damage intestines. It's unnatural to hold in a fart. Farting is natural and holding it in can cause;
