Inspiring story. Good luck man!!
Wow
When I was in the fourth grade, my music teacher knew that there were something special about me. I was asked to write a short essay about why I love music. Not knowing what would come from it, I was given an opportunity that changed my life. I received piano lessons and a grand piano till the age of 18. After the first couple months of my piano lessons, my music teacher left without a known reason, and I was forced to make the decision to continue on my own or to give up. Music is in my blood and I wanted to make my music dream a reality. Fast forward to August 2016, my band, K4C Music; decided to take this music journey serious. We Took a huge leap of faith and moved to Atlanta. I am the producer but also one of the musicians in the group. That first month of the move, we’ve reached out to a church in Kentucky that was hosting a festival for the youth. They told us that they would not be able to fit us in their budget because of the guest speaker and other artists that they had, and we told them we would take a little to nothing just to perform. After that weekend, we walked out with more than we thought we would ever get a knew right there and then that we were one step closer.
My brother was always a better musician than me and I was always behind his shadow. I was labeled as “that’s so and so‘s little brother”. It always bothered me and I wanted to make a name for myself and made it my goal to be known as an equal musically and become a producer. I feel like this opportunity here is another door for me to take that’ll get me closer to what I’ve always wanted.
