Kai Havertz is proving everyone single detractor wrong

When Kai Havertz was signed after a largely uninspiring spell at Chelsea last summer, Mikel Arteta and Arsenal were heavily questioned.

Not anymore. Yesterday's North London derby goal was his 12th in the Premier League this season, to go along with 6 assists. Most impressively, these goals have come at the crunch end of the season.

Before he came to Arsenal, questions were asked as to what the German's perfect role is. His slow start to life as a Gunner made sure that the trolling continued. But right now, he's flying high. He's replaced Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah as the main striker at the club and the important goals keep coming. Arteta too must be hugely lauded for his contribution in this.
