Jurgen Klopp's Last Liverpool Season Set to End With Just One Trophy!
A disastrous month of April has taken its toll on Liverpool as their hopes of giving a historic farewell to Jugen Klopp have flopped badly. The Reds might as well end the season with just the League Cup as all other trophies seem out of bounds.
Going toe to toe against Manchester City and Arsenal for the Premier League title, Liverpool's chances looked very promising. However Klopp's side managed to win just one out of their five Premier League games in April.
Owing to the results, Liverpool currently find themselves third in the league with 75 points from 35 games. Arsenal are currently on top of the table with 77 points from 34 games while City are second with 76 points from 33 Premier League games.
To make matters worse, Liverpool also exited the UEFA Europa League after losing 3-2 on aggregate to Atalanta in the quarterfinals. The Reds were also knocked out of the FA Cup by Manchester United in March.
Can Klopp turn things around or will this be another forgetful season for the Reds? Let me know your thoughts...
