JSM Football Club wins over Golden Football Club

In the league match of Chandigarh Men's Football League for Gilco Trophy, JSM Football Club registered a spectacular victory and defeated Golden Football Club 5-0. The JSM Football Club team was on full attack in the football ground of Sector-46 Sports Complex.

In the league match, the first goal from JSM Football Club came in the second minute and this goal was scored by Bhupinder. After this, the team continuously made moves for the goal and in the 13th minute, Jai Prakash scored a goal to make the score 2-0. These two goals came in the first half and JSM Club maintained the lead.

In the second half also, JSM Football Club continued to make moves and in the 56th minute Jai Prakash scored a double and in the 67th minute the third goal came from his side. This was the first hat-trick of the tournament. Golden Football Club was on the backfoot and Mannath scored in the 75th minute to give JSM Football Club a big win with a score of 5-0.

The second league match of the day was played between Sai Baba Football Club and Burail Club. Both the teams performed well, but there was no result and the score remained 2-2. The first goal for Sai Baba Club was scored by Sukhman in the 9th minute and then Dhruv put the team ahead 2-0 in the 17th minute.

Burail Football Club made a comeback and Harendra opened their account in the 20th minute. After this, Gautam scored a goal in the 38th minute to make the score 2-2. Both the teams remained equal till half time.

In the second half, there were again attempts from both sides to score a goal, but neither was successful. Sai Baba Football Club and Burail Football Club had to share points
