"Jolly LLB 3" Faces Legal Complaint Over Alleged Disrespect Towards Judiciary
The upcoming film "Jolly LLB 3," featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, has encountered legal trouble as a complaint was filed against it for purportedly mocking lawyers and judges. Chandrabhan Singh Rathod, president of the Ajmer District Bar Association, lodged a complaint in the Ajmer court, asserting that the movie undermines the integrity of the judiciary. Rathod specifically criticized scenes from the previous films in the series for depicting disrespectful scenarios involving lawyers and judges, such as physical altercations and inappropriate behavior.
Rathod urged the court to issue a notice to the film's producers, directors, and actors to halt the shooting immediately. He emphasized the need for the filmmakers to uphold the dignity and prestige of the judiciary in accordance with the country's Constitution. The complaint highlights concerns about scenes portraying violence towards lawyers and judges, along with other behaviors deemed unsuitable for a film depicting legal professionals. The court is currently deliberating on the matter, raising questions about artistic expression and respect for legal institutions in Indian cinema. Stay tuned for further updates on this developing story.
