Joao Felix recently mentioned that his Portuguese teammate Bernardo Silva is interested in joining Barcelona. This has added fuel to the ongoing rumors linking Silva with a move to Catalonia. Reports suggest that Silva is indeed considering the move, especially since he has a £50 million release clause in his contract with Manchester City starting this summer.
In an interview with Jijantes FC, Felix expressed his enthusiasm for Silva joining Barcelona. Felix said, "If I were Barcelona's sporting director, Deco for a day, I would sign Bernardo Silva without a doubt. Let them bring him. Have you seen him play? He's even better as a person. He's from Joao Cancelo's generation. Now players last until they are 35 to 36 years old. His sister-in-law is here, he's asked me about how things are here, the weather, tax issues...I told him it's all right for him to come."
If Barcelona decides to pursue Silva, they may need to sell some players to comply with financial regulations. Even Felix and Cancelo are currently on loan and hence it has to be seen if the club funds to go after Silva this summer.
