The news hubs that you've quoted in your challenge post aren't any independent voices either, you should've at least made a better choice to support your challenge. Pick up their history and see yourself that selective journalism has been the part of their business ever since.
All these agencies propagate a particular ideology and are infamous for making outrageous reporting on their ideological-adversaries particularly in Indian context, while keeping mum on the same events elsewhere in the world.
Truth is hardly anyone (media houses)cares to dig deep and state raw facts that are objective in nature and has no association with any ideology or state because it's the vested interest that rides over sane voices in the world.
It's more like "Two wrongs make a right" fallacy here as I see it, if you know what I mean.!!
"No penalty attaches to sneering at Hindu beliefs." Um, citation required for this claim? Here are some cases where so-called "Hinduphobia" (not that such a thing can exist in today's India) has attracted grave penalties and punishment.

People who ignore this are guilty of cherry picking to make it seem like Hindus are under siege somehow. When the reality is that a comedian can be jailed for ‘anti-Hindu’ jokes that he didn’t even make in the first place!
Read the news. Which religious group (hint: it's a minority in India!) is under attack for their belief? It's not Hindus 🙄
