I loved the show even though there are some pretty big flaws, such as bad cgi, and the main characters do look older than they are portrayed to be. Edwin is still believable as a sixteen-year-old because he's from Edwardian times, and people did look older than they were back then, but both Charles and especially Crystal don't look young enough. Charles looks like he's about twenty-one, and when Crystal first showed up, I thought that she's about twenty-nine (I'm aware that the actor playing Crystal is younger than twenty-nine), but they kept on saying in the show that she's a teenager, as if trying to convince the viewers. No hate about the actors though; they did a decent job, but I'm just not convinced that they are teenagers except for Edwin. Also, there wasn't any chemistry between Charles and Crystal. There are some other plot holes too, but those didn't bother me that much. Having said all this, I loved the show. I loved the connection with The Sandman too. I binge-watched the show the first time, and I'm watching it for the second time now, mainly to see Edwin's cute or hot moments with Monty and the Cat King. If you can't tell by now, Edwin is my absolute favourite, and I loved Jenny too. Niko wasn't bad. The Night Nurse by Ruth Connell was a clever addition. Yes, the show is flawed, but it is enjoyable too. I hope this show continues and Netflix doesn't end up cancelling it.
