1. Removing egg yolks from eggs does not improve health. The yolk is packed with nutrients and improves the taste of the egg. If you're doing it to reduce calories, perhaps you can do this elsewhere.
2. Following strict meal plans to lose fat will eventually result in misery and boredom.
Understanding your diet better (including calories in vs out) while including food you enjoy is a better idea.
3. Sit ups isolate abdominal and oblique muscles, but don't strengthen overall core. Compound exercises stimulate a larger muscles and muscle groups resulting in a stronger core. Squats, lunges and planks are three examples.
4. Cooking with coconut oil does not improve health. Coconut oil is 90% saturated fat (which is fine in moderation), but consuming too much saturated fat can raise LDL cholesterol over time.
Cooking with unsaturated fats like olive oil is an evidence based way to support your heart health long term.
5. Standing on vibrating gym plates hoping to lose body fat is about as much use as keeping your eyes wide open when trying to sleep. It's a waste of your time. Going for regular enjoyable walks or other activities is a more effective way to lose fat.
It’s time for these unhelpful ,at times useless trends to disappear!
