A spokesperson of the Indian Health Ministry termed as fake the reports that are circulating in social media that Bharat Biotech's anti-coronavirus vaccine 'Covaxin' has been approved for trial for children above the age of 12 years by the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI).

The spokesman clarified that DCGI hasn't given any such approval to a group of journalists in the light of wrong reports doing the rounds.
