"He has got so much experience, he is amazing to bat with," Will Jacks on Virat Kohli

Will Jacks heaped praise on Virat Kohli, as the Englishman's 41 ball hundred helped RCB thump Gujarat Titans by nine wickets. This was only Bengaluru's second chase over 200 runs in their IPL history. Will Jacks stated how Virat Kohli helped him navigate through the innings.

The batter got off to a tough start, unable to middle the ball in the first 15 balls. He took 31 balls to reach his fifty, and just 10 more balls to complete his century. RCB have now secured their second consecutive victory, and are still just hanging in the tournament by a thread.

“Virat kind of helped me through my first 15 balls where I was struggling and he showed good intent which is what we had spoken about. That was really good from him and he was keeping us ahead,” Jacks told RCB teammate Cameron Green.

“He was giving me tips on playing spin. He said he was reading Rashid well and could take him down which helped me. He has got so much experience, he is amazing to bat with, I learnt so much out there and pretty lucky to have that kind of partnership with him."
