Gunshots were fired outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence in Bandra, Mumbai.

Preliminary investigation revealed that two bike-borne assailants fired five rounds around 5 am.

Salman Khan, who has Y-plus security, was at home during the incident.

The police are investigating, checking CCTV footage, and reviewing security measures.

This incident follows threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who claimed responsibility for a firing incident in Canada.

Bishnoi had previously sent threatening messages to Salman Khan.
